the reason you love spirals is simply because you have a deep love for the universe
and the universe loves you back.

I suppose I've been influenced by the youtube video that I linked in my journal.
I'm atheist...but I do believe that we are manifesting something
Carl Sagan stated "we are a way for the cosmos to know itself"

girlfriend, i have loved carl sagan since i was, ummm.... 10 years old! the cosmos series on PBS was my big introduction to astronomy. the very first class i had in university was astronomy. i remember registering for my classes and having a couple of electives cause i'd brought a bunch of AP credit with me from high school, so i was staggered that there were such amazingly cool classes! it's weird cause my dad is a history prof, and i knew college inside out from growing up with him, but somehow the realization that i could take the FUN science classes. i took a bunch of biology in high school, but i'd kind of had it with that, but in college, i loved my science classes!
but back to the idea--i love that, it's so inside out, if that makes any sense. i think i'm an atheist! i'm not 100% sure! i am sure that there is more. maybe the more is, like the speaker said, something like physics we can't understand yet, or maybe it's spiritual, but there's something there. and that makes me remember that he said it was physics that we COULD understand AND it was spiritual. right on!
