im pretty pleased with the outcome even though this is my first attempt at a gauntlet.so pretty much about 99% prototype on this one. right now the rivets are not set since its not finished and i dont like the index finger. i dont know if i want to change the tips of the fingers to being stitched together. the rivets on the sides just seem a little much it may be better set though. but i went through almost a full 50 or so rivets out of a small 100 pack bag... i dont like the joint on the first knuckle because it shows a gap... dont really know how to fix that without using more leather and rivets -_- anywho a big thanks to for the constant advice. a thanks to everyones who faved stuff watched me and helped me just hit the 2k mark on pageviews. thank you guys

no i dont unfortunately. i just started cutting leather to fit my hand. would stretch it and then cut it down and repeat.

You almost have to rivet parts of that for flexibility, if you stitch the sides of the fingers you'll only be able to move if you stretch/flex the leather itself in which case you had might as well just sew a glove from the thin stuff.

i meant the underside of the fingertips, i have 2 rivets there and it makes the fingertips too bulky. also because of the 2 layers of leather. so i was thinking of sewing the fingertips not the joints. and i hope to get some thin stuff to make a better glove soon.

For a gauntlet type of thing I wouldn't go too much thinner than that but yeah a thin glove stitched inside would do great. good job man.
