chibi commission of Izaya and Shizuo from Durarara for my brother 8V these two were hard to draw but i eventually managed and got them right, i think? xD Shizuo's hair is especially hard T_T but they were fun after i had to sketch them a bunch of times xDdont ask what Shizuo is crushing xD it was originally something else but it looked ugly so i made it a chibi stoplight! chibi stoplights dont have a yellow light, i bet you didnt know 8V but its true!!!
me and my brother are enjoying watching this anime but we dont think our mom gets it xD seems like a generational type of series... one generation will like it but nobody else will get it 8V

Durarara is one of those shows that I had avoided at first just because of the rabid fandom, but I had recently begun watching it, and it's pretty interesting so far.
Doesn't beat "Baccano!", though. If you haven't heard of that one I'd recommend it, and it's made by the same creators.

yeah, same... but it came on Adult Swim and watching anime seems like one of the few activities i get to do with my brother and my mom, so i went ahead and started watching it. before it came out, i was actually excited because its done by the same people who did one of my favorite anime, Baccano, which is based on a novel by the same author of the original novel of Durarara. i didnt expect it to get so popular, though o.O and i get scared off easily by popular things xD
and yeah... Baccano xD;; one of the few series ive watched multiple times and own the DVD for 8V

*sigh* gay is such a fad these days ((98% of people who claim to be gay arent really gay because its so stupidly popular for... no reason i can understand)). just because they are two guys interacting, it doesnt make them gay.

I take that offensively because my best friend happens to be gay.(He is really gay, not just faking it for attention. He would actually rather hide it.) I'm not saying there gay for each other because they interact, I'm saying I want them to be gay because I rarely see any gay anything on t.v. and I really think it might make the show a little more interesting having a little love tension between the two.(I love drama

taking stuff offensively is a waste of energy e.u and its not like i said gay people dont exist. im just saying its a fad and one im really sick of and wish would go away since it keeps flooding everything. i dont watch much tv, so i couldnt care less about it, but gay is freaking EVERYWHERE on the internet. i cant believe people arent bored sick of it yet. and if i was the author of a series where i got comments from people of "i think making the characters be gay makes the series more fun" i would think im a sucky writer because my story couldnt hold up on its own without giving in to some stupid fad -.-;;

P.S. I get where you're coming from, I hate fads too. But I really only posted the comment out of sheer boredom so if you don't like it go ahead and delete it. I could really care less about gay parings but a good online argument is always fun.

i wanted to do something more interactive between them but i was having a really hard time with those poses so i went with this 8V Shizuo is actually glaring at Izaya but i guess its hard to tell with those glasses xP
