I don't usually do remakes but this is a redo of something old :V ALMOST two years old exactly:Same characters, also chibi, but I wanted to see how I've improved xD Honestly, I think perhaps it was a mistake to have the redo as cell shade when I actually haven't done it in a while LOL;; I've been painting my chibis more often than not these days and I think the painted ones look kinda better.
Oh well, I guess xD
Anyways, I am way more dynamic with poses and motions these days, comparing the new and the old together. That's good, at least 8V I think the newer ones are cuter, too.
So yeah... Matthew and Kaejung! I need to draw them together more often haha xD They are my two favorite OCs of mine <3

Yeah, the original Matthew uses guns xD He is a gun collector and marksman specializing in difficult trick shots. I need to have WT!Matthew RP with a gun user one of these days so he can surprise everyone with his uncanny affinity for guns lawl.

LOL welll it is true I need to do a proper ref sheet for them xD Anyways... Matthew and Kaejung are childhood friends. In canon Tales-of-Nexus , Matthew was separated from Kae at age 11 or 12ish, then went on to live in the world of the Guilds. In WT, the "original" Matthew stayed in Kaejung's country ((Gangnyeok, a totalitarian dictatorship country)). Everything before that separation is exactly the same in both stories, though xD So WT's "original" Matthew remained in Gangnyeok and eventually became part of the Gangnyeok military, while the canon one grew up in the Guilds and became a businessman. WT!Matthew and Kaejung both have military jackets because they were both in the Gangnyeok military. Kae's is white because he is actually a member of the royal family and the heir to the throne ((only the nation's ruler can wear the white version)). Black is for the "special ops/black ops" division, specializing in solo work, stealth, assassination and intelligence gathering, so that was the work WT!Matthew's original did in Gangnyeok. Lurji and Kae's sword are similar because they are from the same swordsmith, so their style is similar. Everyone in Gangnyeok military has a sword + some other weapon set ((like for Matthew, he also had guns)). Swords are the standard thing, though xD
There is more, of course, but I haven't revealed the rest in RPs yet, so they be secrets for now 8D Hopefully that wasn't too confusing.
