im not much of a photographer... but heres a panorama photo from my trip! its not the best but oh well, photography is hard for me so i think its pretty decent for lack of talent in photo taking xD most of my photos suck so bad and i can only really use them as references for drawings/paintings instead of as actual art by themselves.i went out on the canoe right after this and i really regret not having my camera with me on the water because the sunset got about a gazillion times more spectacular right after this panorama was taken. it was like 360 degrees of epic colors and shapes on the land, water and in the sky. like... the most vivid colors ive ever seen in person. one of those memories ill never be able to share now xD it was too amazing. even if i had my camera with me in the canoe, i wouldnt have known what to take a picture of because there was too much epic EVERYWHERE around me. most of it wouldnt be in the picture no matter what i did.
the region is filled with volcanoes. over 100 cinder cone volcanoes make their homes in the area, like the center cone in this photo. that cinder cone is actually a volcano within a volcano as the whole lake area is a larger volcano ((caldera)).

-stares- wuaaaaaaaaaah!! *w* .....it's so prettttyyyyy~ ((your photography is a lot better than you make it out to be xD you say that most turn out bad but what photgrapher's don't tell you is most of theirs turn bad too! heck 98% of mine doesn't make it to be a finished photo published on the association I work for ffff so yeah V: keep those photos comming and be more proud of your photgraphy cause wuah this made me speechless O: reminds me of the sunsets here but of course that is as bright as it gets , pink and red with blue above and purple horizon line ;; ))

thanks |D and yeah... lots of photographers have told me that as well and the key is in the editing and cropping to make the best photos. i just know im not anywhere near as good as any photographers, though xD;; photography is a very technical art... totally different from drawing. i kind of think drawing is the right-brain art while photography is a left-brain art as it seems like most people succeed in one or the other, but rarely with both. i think photography is a left brain art because of all the numbers involved with the camera and settings and stuff BEFORE you click your camera's button. while drawing is more free form and therefore more right brained. thats my theory, anyways |D

I just use the grid setting with the threshold stat at the bottom on my camera so I know if it's too bright or too dark and if it's aligned in a nice way I also use auto-focus a lot , I'm just learning all the fiddiley settings of dot focus and action shots and the whole ISO thing ...less ISO , less grain eue ...I cheat bwhaha.

yeaaah ive tried for years to figure it out and i still have no clue! xD i just leave everything at auto settings e.u i seem to make things worse when i try and change anything. for some reason, its impossible for me to learn this stuff 8V
