"hi, I'm Berry, and this is my butchershop!"so here is a *quick* (due to me getting distracted by other ideas) thing i did of a pony version of Barry the chopper from fullmetal alchemist
the regular version, not that armored version... don't like that version of him...
lol funny thing: there is no blood in this picture XD considering the subject, it is an amazing feat lol.
*update: darkened the tail to match the shading lol
fullmetal alchemist belongs tooooooooooooo... funimation? idk... it belongs to japan, that's all i know lol.
mlp fim belongs to hasbro/lauren faust

lemme tell you, it's rare for me to get a very useful critique like the one you gave me, so thank you a ton for that ^^
now that i look at it, the eyes do seem kinda spread out lol 
as for the blood (or lack-there-of), i didn't want to really add blood because i still wanted to keep it "kid-friendly"/PG (though i'm kinda pushing it lol). i personally do not think it is possible to add a little blood, only a lot. and quite frankly, i would not really like to see a bloody mess (take a look at my pictures, and you will see the noticeable lack of blood from my artwork, with the exception of a couple)
also, there are a couple kids who check out my artwork at times, so i take them into consideration when making my artwork

Thinking of the kids, that's nice and not many people do that on the internet no more...
A bloody mess would ruin the image, I agree on that, but I do think it would be able to just ad a little, or since your thinking of the kids, rust.
A nice and rusty meat cleaver, could make also help on making this look like a mad pony.

Once there was a butcher named Barry, and he loved his job. Getting to cut fresh meat all day. But eventually, he grew bored and sullen with his occupation. Chopping meat just wasn't the same. So he decided to cut up people. The end <3

That's basically his story in a nutshell. And in the original FMA, he did actually convey his story of descent into becoming a serial killer.
