Description
Conflict follows wrongdoing as surely as flies follow the herd, especially when a group of morons try to set up camp in your part of town. Luc rubbed the dust out of his eyes and groaned as he walked down the sand-covered street; the sounds of clumsy, loud idiots setting up shop in his "backyard" could be heard from down the road, where Luc was. he had gone out to collect on a favor some gal and her lovely girlfriend owed him, before the incoming windstorm would hit the area. he figured he might as well have some fun before being stuck inside for potentially days. However, within those few hours of fun, some wanderers had already stumbled upon luc's place and thought it was open for vacancy. Luc casually strutted into talking distance of the intruders, using the dust clouds as camouflage. a gust of wind suddenly hit the area, blowing away Luc's cover, along with stirring up and shifting other mounds and pockets of sand all over the place; particularly the built up cache in the higher levels of a building overlooking where the wanderers were. Luc took notice of it, but was then spotted by the newcomers. He could see them reaching for their guns, just in case things went south for them.

a woman, who Luc guessed was their leader, spoke out to him. "hey, you! no need to interfere with something that ain't bothering' you none, so just keep walkin' by! we claimed this plot of land here already, so we don't want any trouble!"

Luc huffed and shook his head. It was time to deal with a bunch of dumb children "you gotta be kidding me... a'right, listen up! that's MY house you're in, buddy. Now, a decent cowboy does not take what belongs to someone else. And if she does..." Luc slyly said as he unsheathed his metallic device of ungodly destruction, "...she deserves to be strung up and left for the flies and coyotes."

the group of wanderers drew their guns on Luc, readying themselves for the worst. a few of them had worried faces on as they saw the utter size of Luc's gun. One of the wanderers, a young cub, could be slightly overheard speaking to an older boy next to him. "u-uhm, josh, that gun is REALLY big, and he looks REALLY mad at us... A-Ah think he's got a grenade launcher strapped to the bottom of it... m-maybe we sho-" he nervously said right before being interrupted by the older boy, "Dude, the bigger a bad man's gun, the smaller his doodlewick. he's just trying to scare us, Riley. Besides, he probably doesn't even have any am-"

"Never miss a good chance to shut up, kid!" Luc yelled out, a bit flustered from that "doodlewink" comment. another gust of wind came by, further shifting that sand cache in the building above them; some of it falling out and landing on the young cub, who freaked out in the most adorable way imaginable.

the leader spoke out to Luc again, a bit more friendly, but still very firm, "look, i'm sorry, but this isn't your place anymore, so you'll have to find somewhere else to go. don't try to force your way in, cause we outnumber you by A LOT."

Luc mischievously grinned, sensing the windstorm that was about to hit. he knew this part of the city, and its weather patterns, better than anyone else. "My friend, why should I obtain by force that which I can obtain by cheating?"

confused, the group's leader was about to question what he meant when a gargantuan amount of wind hit the area, whipping sand, and anything light-weighted around, including that particular sand cache. it completely blew out of the building, pouring onto the wanderers like a waterfall. taking advantage of the temporary blindness of the group, luc aimed his gun to the building and fired two rounds from the mounted grenade launcher on his gun, being sure to take into account the wind speed in order to make sure he hit his mark. the explosive projectiles hit the pieces of building above the wanderers, causing part of that side of the structure, and any extra sand on it, to collapse and bury the group. through the sand-clouds, Luc could see that the debris made a sloped path to the upper levels of the building.

"Ha-ha! iv'e always wanted a high-rise suite!" luc cheerfully said to himself, right before being pounded with even stronger winds that almost knocked him off his feet. "g'aaaaaah dammit! i'll worry about that later!" he worriedly exclaimed as he darted off to the nearby ACE building for shelter from the storm. once inside, Luc walked over to a nearby chair and collapsed in it; the sound of wind assaulting the building echoed throughout the abandoned facility. today was a victory for him. he had fun with two lovely ladies, and he finally got access to those upper levels of that building. now he just had to wait the storm out. hopefully it wouldn't last too long. luc was VERY eager to explore his new high-rise suite.
