so over the weekend, i was at the rock creek fair :3 ^^ out of the 7 drawings i entered in the contests there, i won 3 first places, and 3 second places, along with the aggregate for the Young Art category, winning me a total of 24 dollars and a free ride bracelet (there was amusement park rides there) c:

on top of that, f*cking FRED PENNER PERFORMED! gawd dammit, he was the best performer there! XD no really, "the cat came back" is the most badass song ever! F*CK YEAH! hell, he outdid the saloon dancers. and it takes A LOT to outdo them

on top of that even, lots of people recognised me from previous years XD lol the people handing out the prizes for the contests were goin' nutz when they spotted me and my sis (who have a history of winning big) XD but yeah, A LOT of people were complimenting me on my hair and my outfit c:

buuuut my little little (5 year old) sister thinks this 9 year old girl is my girlfriend now, because me and her were sitting next to each other on one of the rides (the kamikaze) -atomic facedesk- but then according to her logic, the two little boys she was with on the rocket train ride are now her boyfriends (which she rejected, as expected).

overall, aside from the STUPID HEAT, it was super awesome and even better for my self esteem c: only problem is that next year is my final year to be in the young art category :/ so im going all out next year c: you know, going out with a bang. because the year after, i will be going against the adults. mainly people who have 40+ years more experience than i do. eh crap ._.
