1. If I remember correctly, you said something that indicated you had little knowledge of FoE. People who join this fandom quickly realize that it's the fandom's fanfic. Hence, I asked if you joined this fandom yesterday (though it was more an idiom than anything else).
2. The name is known in the fandom, if you've been in it long enough (see point 1). Similar to knowing the main character of the Hunger Games even if you haven't read the books.
3. It was hyperbole. I expressed disdain for this fandom's adulation of Fallout Equestria with a little old-fasioned exaggeration.
