I love this picture! The overall effects are impressive and amazingly done!
First things first, since the eye appears to be the point of focus, being the only non red, orange, or black color, this eye is what viewers see first. Cleaner lines around the edge would help keep its form and maybe even an extra glow would add to it. Also, since this all seems to take place in a volcano, there should be a faint reddish/orange glow to the eyes.
I also love the orange flecks to represent molten particles that you might see in a volcanic like area. I think even adding some gold colored flecks would get that fiery feel going.
Often, pictures are cropped down to leave a narrow channel with just the eyes and a little of the body to show a tense emotion or determination. I think cropping this picture down from the top a little towards its eyes (Not too much though) would really show determination for Darkrai to want his wish to come true, especially since this is a dark, evil type of wish. The added drama would only make this already fantastic picture even more attention grabbing.
