The man with the plan, the master of goofy faces, that's right, its Sokka, the meat and sarcasm guy! A man after my own heart.

It's easy for the non-superpowered characters like Krillin or Hawkeye to get lost in the shuffle as the demigod heroes and villains continue to clash in more spectacular ways, but Sokka is a cut above the rest, thanks in no small part to just how terrifically crafted his show was. He carved an important niche for himself by being resourceful and pragmatic, and continued to pull his own weight right up to the very end. It takes a careful hand and a careful performance to let a character walk that line so masterfully, and while all the characters from Avatar were just as lovingly handled and wonderfully realized, Sokka will always stick out to me as one of my favorite characters of all time.

Oh, and he's hilarious, too!
