If you say my name and look intently at the internet, it summons me.Or... rather... if you type the code for my icon, Deviant Art seems to notify me of it.
I saw a pic that made me consider doing this; I'm not too skilled with the Equestria Girls style, so forgive me if I messed it up any.Β I don't really care for Equestria Girls - Not saying it's bad, so much as it's somewhat removed from what makes the ponies fun.Β Still, I like a self imposed challenge! Also, some may notice a slight difference in the lineup - born of necessity as the owner of the position in my setup no longer has the thumbs necessary to do this job.
Also, had fun comin' up with the clothes ideas (mixing together specifics of their classes with their EQG outfits) - after all, what are clothes but hats you put over the rest of your body?

I was curious to see who you would replace Spike with if you ever made this, Sunset Shimmer can play the part well, but I still like the mildly psychotic Spyro(Which I just realized is the name of a Skylander)

I just had a random thought; Since in TF and TF 2 all the characters are male, perhaps one should try for an all female cast in the Pony line-up.

Someone should really make some vectors of TF2 Equestria Girls. Only AJ should be the Engineer, Pinkie Pie should be the Pyro, Twilight should be the Sniper and Fluttershy should be the Medic.

You see, I don't care for that matchup.
If you want to make Twilight a smart class, why not make her Medic or Engineer? They're actually educated.Β You can only say the Sniper has sniping math figured out.Β Medic named his bird after an ancient greek mathematician.Β She just got shoehorned into this role so Applejack can have the southern class and Fluttershy can be healer.
If you want Fluttershy to be a kind class, you're playing the wrong game.Β Even the Medic is a nightmare fetishist, and healing is just a side-effect of his experiments.Β He's all about the ubercharges.
Applejack as the southern speaking guy? I'd rather the characters' abilities fit her if possible.
The only thing perpetuating Pinkie Pyro are Pyrovision and grimdark fan fiction.Β I wanted to put a bit more thought into my crossovers.

Yah forgot Zacora as the Demoman! That in itself is stupid. "Black" character being put in a role because the original character is such, without regarding the fact that Zecora's a medicine woman, and quite wise herself. She'd probably fit the role for medic a LOT better, if not for her probably confusing others, and her tendancy to lean towards more peaceful means of approaching problems.

They all look for peaceful solutions, but Zecora would work as Medic because she is by trade a herbalist/medicine mare.Β Most of her concoctions have healing properties.Β For a while, I was considering making Twilight the Engineer and Zecora the Medic, but chose to make Twilight Medic instead.

Well, you don't HAVE to give them the same personalities as the crew. You could still make Fluttershy act as her usual self as the Medic. Or you could still have Twilight act smart even though she's the Sniper.

There's the thing.Β I am considering the ponies' personalities unaltered (at least as much as they can be).Β We have Twilight Sparkle -- genius, mage, leader, princess of friendship -- hiding behind a barrel and shooting people in the head while Fluttershy -- shy, anxious, self-confessed coward -- runs into a hail of gunfire, doing amazing things through ubers and, in MvM, reviving the dead and projecting energy shields that burn robots.
I mean, if we're ignoring class personalities, why not make Twilight Sparkle the Engineer? I imagine the math necessary to build automated guns and teleporters far exceeds the math needed to shoot someone in the head.

Seeing you change the lineup by substituting Sunset Shimmer for spike gave me an idea.
What if you assembled a different blue team roster using other ponies? Background ponies and antagonists maybe?
I could see Lyra as the mad scientist medic and Octavia as the cultured, refined spy for instance.
