Well, I feel everything so it'd be just better if I wait for someone else to get killed. Of course, that might not actually kill me, I just might feel it. Which, depending on how they die, might hurt like nuts. Wait... if I feel everything, does that mean I feel everything all at once? Wouldn't that drive me mad? Oh man... but if I know everything, why don't I know this? Is it because no one knows this and therefor it isn't part of "everything?" Is "everything" an illusion we conjure to quantify something that cannot be numbered? Oh man... I'm freaking out!!!

This scene reminds me a little of this line from the Return of the Jedi novelization, which refers to Vader:
'As the flames enveloped the corpse, smoke rose from the vents in the mask, almost like a black spirit, finally freed.'
If there were any souls in those ghouls, they are finally freed and can find peace on the other side.

While I do like this ending, I kinda have to admit I'm sort of disappointed a little. I thought it would have been better for somepony other then Starflare to do the sacrifice. Still, I'm glad this is ending and I cannot wait to see what you have planned next. I am hoping to get that $90 dollars soon by the way so I can commission you that comic. You're one of the artists I've always wanted to work with on something.
