I can't say she's my favorite pony either, but I don't DISLIKE her. :c The only thing that I find irritating is that some fans have the weirdest need to baby her as if she were a living being. xD

Well I don't like her at times because of how much fans overrate her at times, making her into a Mary Sue of some kind with her nature. Otherwise I don't care much for her.

I'm just irritated when the character is credited for all the wrong things while important factors are forgotten on that ground - such as when I had people complain to me that Fluttershy 'is supposed to be the Medic'.
But I don't hate the player, as it were. Fluttershy is an adorable character, and I still enjoy her. It's really the fans that annoy me, and it's because that I learned to derive a grim pleasure in rustling their jimmies.

Fluttershy is a shy, reserved, and seems to be sort of 'naturey'. She doesn't strike me as the kind who'd stick in a lab and make weird devices.
Twilight is a magical genius. A bow-wielding woodsman is like here polar opposite.

It's a bit like the real Pyro.
He might be crazy and picturing something that makes him less uncomfortable, he might be hallucinating the good times, he might be brainwashed... it might even just be the mask itself as a sentient being showing him something he likes while making him do things IT wants i.e. killing people.
