Sorry for being dead! I'm just popping in quickly while I do my homework. I've gotten sloppy, I know!! But my printer just started working again and I had to scan something to make sure it would do it okay, so here's some Samurai Jack and Josephine. I don't ship these two, but hey, I drew it for Tumblr shenanigans.I'm literally typing this and checking all of my Japanese homework AND keeping an eye on my Shakespeare at the same time. This weekend was WAY too short, dammit. Then there's that goddamn Occupy Davis drama. I mean, we've got cops pepperspraying students who are sitting in our quad with their arms linked. Damn, I mean, I'm afraid to go out there because 1) I LIKE having functioning eyes and 2) what if it's another Bastille thing?! These UC regents need to get their butts in gear, I swear to Primus...

well we know anyways that Jacks future wife was shown in season 4 or 1..i forgot, it a beautiful little japanese girl that Jack makes a origami grasshopper !! He smiles with a in love face when she kisses him on his cheek...she is so pretty that little girl!!

Lol I LOVE samurai Jack. Haha I've been playing around with drawing him for a little bit, throwing in some different ideas that a lot of people have with their favorite shows. Haha
You know, I like Josie, but just not them together! Haha I think she was just a pretty face he 'fell' for but not in love. Plus, she totally conned him. But hey I agree with ya, this is an awesome show and you do a great job at drawing it

I really doubt this pairing would ever work out, mainly because... Well... She's like a spider, and he's a moth! He's going to get caught up in her web at some point, and it's not going to turn out well for him at all. At least Zeke was smart and took off when he had the chance.

I loved the Jospehine-and-Ezekiel-Clench episode, and the episode with the sentient robot X9 and his dog Lulu. Dude, that episode's fight scene was so suspenseful and enchanting.

Samurai Jack has the storyline style of a spaghetti Western (like the Clint Eastwood films), but with a sharp and fluid visual style, mixed in with Eastern music and world mythology. It's not all completely serious mythology, just cameos and homages. I think the best way to explain the show would be the villain's introduction:
"Long ago in a distant land, I, Aku, the shape-shifting Master of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil! But a foolish Samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now the fool seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is Aku!"

I never got to watch Samurai Jack as a kid. D: But when I want to watch it now, my parents are like "You want to watch THAT? What is wrong with you child. " But I love Samurai Jack, especially Gangster!Samurai Jack.

Screw it, it may be a cartoon, but it is a cartoon that has a very interesting artistic style! And it's just damn awesome! That's why I'm nuzzling around YouTube and watching the series all over again. :/
Josephine flirts with any man she meets. She's like Blackarachnia! OH GODS SHE IS! She's manipulative, but once the guy is aware of what she's doing, she sheds the sweetness and shows her real anger and greed. Creepy.
And I am safe! Thankfully everything has died down, and I'm not sure what the protesters are going to do over the holidays-- they're still camping out on the central campus lawns, but the nights are getting colder and longer, and I'm worried that someone might get pneumonia or hypothermia out there. -_-
