MetalShadowOverlord β€” Net Neutrality Stamp

Description I tried (and failed) at making a cleaver anti-Net Neutrality stamp. I just found out that the bill that literally nobody wanted passed 3-2. Apparently, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) can now "regulate" the internet.

Sorry, but, as a person who believes in less government, I would prefer Big Brother keep his head out of the internet.

LESS GOVERNMENT, more PEOPLE. They don't listen to us anymore anyway. Radio hosts are getting banned in the UK... The US isn't very far behind...

One hundred percent agreed! FCC get off our internet! NOW! I don't get how they could do it when not only was that stupid bill voted down in Congress but the courts also said no! I hope it gets repealed somehow.

wasn't net neutrality supposed to be regulating the PRICE of internet?

MetalShadowOverlord In reply to Psychic-girl [2011-01-05 15:44:10 +0000 UTC]

Uh...of all the things I've read about Net Neutrality, price was not one of them. O.o Are you sure you're not thinking of something else?

Psychic-girl In reply to MetalShadowOverlord [2011-01-05 15:53:23 +0000 UTC]

maybe I am thinking of something else... cause what's what I heard about in my college class, oh wait I think it has to do with the bandwidth that ISP's provide, I'd vote for price reduction but nothing more...

It's an excuse for Big Brother to peek at what you're doing. There is no benefit to this.

But seriously, this is just completely unnecesary and stupid. ._.

(by the way, the video was "not available in your country", but that's what you have proxies for, right? They're not illegal...yet.)

Before we know it, sites with certain words or unwanted opinions will be blocked...

Of course, the whole proccess will be more subtle than with China, but still...
