Description Somehow I forgot about the existence of this painting, but luckily, i've found it today.

I painted this because I made my now annual trip to the art store to buy masking fluid and some new watercolors, and I had to try them out. The latest drawings in my sketchbook back then were two hands, so they've become the test subjects. I used a limited palette consisting of a cool red, a skin-toned yellow, a purplish grey and a dull blue, which I've mixed from my anilinky paints, Pannoncolor's cadmium yellow, cadmium red and ultramarine blue and also from Renesans' cerulean blue and magenta. I've also used the cerulean blue purely, because it wasn't that saturated (unfortunately, the cyan-toned colours that I've looked for were all missing, so I bought this one instead). The colours could have looked much better if I had my Anilinky paints with myself, but I've left them at home, so I've only had some leftovers to work with.

The masking fluid worked great, but it almost cost me one of my newest brushes to learn how to use it properly. I wetted the brush with water before the fluid solidified, and it stuck to the fibers real hard. I was boiling my brush for half an hour straight after the incident, and I couldn'completely restore it, but at least it's usable now.

The paper I used is from the Canson Mix-Media sketchbook, in A/4 size.

Also, have I mentioned yet that I LOVE HANDSS?
