Yeah well, for once I am half-serious in the title only because it is my very first piece I painted with my portfolio in mind. No real surprise but it is intended for a MTG-ish style.On the technical side, the only textures I used are the flames, the rest is painted. I changed my workflow and worked plane by plane, starting with the sky and going up to the foreground, stacking the layers. On the time spent, I would say around 25hr but I can't be sure at this point.
I will try to do few more of these for my portfolio in the near future.
Meanwhile, don't hesitate to leave a comment or a critic.

I love the concept. (The image is great too, but the following request is for the concept, only.) Would I be able to do an official write-up for this for the Barebones Fantasy Role-playing Game by DwD Studios? (Without the image.) There are no doubt many GM's who would love to have this creature in their monster grab bag. The name "cindermaw tiger", and the concept, is inspiring. If it helps, I'm sure the publication designer would be happy to give you credit and a link in the book.
