Finally getting back to art. I'm ready to move on and start getting back to things here. This block wasn't going to last forever and I won't let it either.

In any case, I thought I'd start things off with a bit of color practice. I want to start using more vivid colors in my works and not shade with straight up same colors but lighter/darker. I compared this doll to the last one wherein I dolled Saniya and hoo boy what a difference. The last one is so dark and difficult to see. The details aren't easier to see here either, no, but dang am I at least happy with that dress!

Saniya is supposed to have reflective skin and I admit towards the end I gave up. I still need to figure out her hair in terms of colors and I need to do the same with her darned skin shine.

This character is an artificial spirit that was created by the sages of ancient times. Designed after Fi, Saniya was supposed to also be like her mentally only she ended up not being that way due to creator error. She was sealed within the Ocarina of Time to stabilize its time properties of the ocarina as it being made of timeshift stones didn't exactly end well. She's released many millennia later when the hero of the era smashes the instrument. She's free but there's one teeny, tiny detail about her -- she's as ignorant as a newborn child. Saniya has never seen the world prior to her dormancy ending so everything is brand new and exciting. But she's the centerpiece of an unraveling war... Saniya's development is in the hands of her allies!
