Aaaaand I submit another deviation. D:

Aaaaand I place the leaves on the cherries in the wrong place because I didn't know where they were supposed to go and when I asked him he was like "Yeah, they go right near the froot, not at the top! :B" DD: Liar! D:<

Aaaaand, ehh. yeah. Uh, well, uhm... ugh.

This piece, if you couldn't already tell, is based off of [link] It was supposed to be another design but it started to become less designey as I got more into it. lol. I kinda like the turnout.... kinda. There's always room for self-critique for you to scold me about.

Lesse. The face is too long... WAY too long. The colors are screwed up, the tanktop was done crappily, the stupid star in the corner is badly done, the leafy things are too vibrant for the rest of the picture so the colors don't go together, the cherries are physically deformed, her hair sucks, the hands did take a while because I used an anatomy book as reference but they suck because I've never done good at hands, her head is too large for her body, her waist, or at least what you can see of her waist, is really disproportional, the ladybugs are too teeny and invisible and I should have added more, the BG should have been darker, her right arm needs a bit of work, the purple I used to shade the skin disappeared while I was touching it up so it looks less round... ehh. The strategy I'm trying to have here, well, since I recieved massive critique once I recieved my DD, I've been discouraging critique on all my pieces because I want to try and evaluate what's wrong with my artwork on my own without any help, well, some help. It's actually working. ;D

Actually this was a totally random drawing... I was just trying to get over artblock. xD My dad keeps insisting that this looks good, but I'm not entirely proud of the result. My color choices suck majorly. D: I never get color critique. One of my friends keeps insisting that my stuff should be colored dark red. xDD Plus she loves seeing pictures of Kashuu. I don't draw him as much as I used to... ehh. I should. I should draw more SL charries and explain the story sometime after the contest is over... okay, well, enjoy!

MATERIALS USED: Sakura Micron 05 (? or was it 08?) black inking pen, 05 pink inking oen, Copic Multiliner 05 I think, Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor white charcoal pencil, all done on bristol board.

PS: No offense to anyone who thinks this, but who do people keep telling me they like my colored pencil works? I haven't used colored pencil in ages. D;
