Description
Meskhemet was created when an ancient priestess of Egypt foresaw the horrors that were to come to Earthrealm following a Mortal Kombat tournament in the distant future. Hoping to change mankind's fate, she and a handful of her acolytes sacrificed themselves in a ritual that gave the oracle spirit they communed with physical form. For centuries, the golem they created sat in silent decay as Earthrealm was steadfastly protected by the chosen warriors of the gods... until modern times. Sensing that the time had finally come, Meskhemet awoke and took up her sword to join the tournament and defend the realm from the invasion that followed shortly after. But Meskhemet was made for a singular purpose, and once the tides were turned and Earthrealm was safe again, she returned to her tomb and resumed her centuries-long sleep.

Her slumber lasted only a few years when a band of Tarkatans looking for the amulet of Shinnok made the mistake of opening her tomb to plunder it. It was their last.
