The milky way rises over the highest peak in Petra, Jordan. the mountain is known as Mount Aaron, named after the prophet Aaron- brother of Moses.on its peak is a Mamluk shrine to Aaron, constructed over a Byzantine church, the place is so remote that peices of marble from the previous structure litter the surrounding area.
