Description I made this fridge cabinet with shelves myself out of recycled wood. I used paint pens and acrylic paints for the artwork. After each painted panel was finished, I nailed it in. Then I coated it all with Krylon clear coat.

This project took me about a month, and it still isn't exactly complete, I ran out of "ink" (paint) before I could add the decorative edges to the panels on the left side.

If I could do it again I'd add more back support, double coat the paint, and probably use a polyurethane coat that's specifically intended for indoor furniture. I would probably also have coated & sealed any exposed wooden edges, and added cloth pads to the base.

I had so much fun with this project! I'm pleased enough with how it turned out. Hopefully some other people with a passion for native Californian wildlife will find it interesting too. I'll post more details soon.
