Description Molly my 1964 Morris Minor or “moggy thou” in front of Brighton’s iconic seafront bandstand, linked to the promenade, near the ever diminishing remains of Brighton’s once beautiful west pier.

A friend bet me I couldn’t cook a good Christmas dinner - finishing work at 10am, and the fact it is May and was pouring with rain did not deter me... maybe it would’ve been better if it had, as two of my friends got food poisoning... (I can cook, honest. Their oven kept turning off and the Yorkshire puddings of all things were raw!)

Before heading home I headed to the seafront. You can hardly go to Brighton without seeing the sea! By the evening it had brightened up beautifully, with blue skies all around. Tired, I booked a Travelodge and retired for the night instead of risking the overtired drive home.
