Description Bluebird 3d`s a bright loft not so bright

What started out as sun/sky render turned into a warm night time render instead, 5 light mesh spheres with varying wattage (3x60, 1x40 and 1x25), small amount of bloom and glare.

Set up in DAZ 4.6, exported and rendered by Octane for DAZ studio to 20.1k samples in just 12 hours.

Man! As a fellow Octane User, I've got to tip my hat. The only thing that I would like to point out is that they reflections of the lights in the wood floor you have detract from the scene. It makes it seem like the wood floor is more like glass than wood, and I think it distracts me as the viewer away from the rest of this beautifully rendered scene. At first I thought it was a mistake until I saw that it was a reflection. It's too clear of a reflection and I think that's what caused the distraction.

Other than that, I think the image is great. You've made it such a warm and inviting place that I think I'd want to hang out here.

Looks great, Michael!  You really picked up on Octane it seems, and this is a great example of some excellent interior lighting.

Nice lighting and POV. I also agree with the floor reflections, lower the spec and see if you can blur them a bit more too so they stretch a little with the grain. The skirting board under the stairs is also glossy. Over all though I am very impressed with this. I cannot wait to join the Octane render ranks.

It`s probably not helping that there's no bump maps with this set. Thanks for the nice comments.

Yeah it was shock to see them go that way. I tend not to let things like that get to me. Life is too hard to add to it. But I hear you.

It's a little masterpiece of lighting.  I'd probably have to agree with will2power on the two floor reflections, but I didn't notice that until he pointed it out, so it's not a huge thing to me.  This is one of the best uses of atmosphere I've ever seen in a render.
