Another illustration piece I made for my portfolio.This one only took about an hour and a half... I feel like I'm starting to get back in the swing of things...!
This one's purely conceptual. I have no idea where this came from. There's no story behind it, and for some reason there's a blue mouse. Yay for adventure!

I adore this. Massively, massively adore this. Not only does it look like a picture from a children's book, but it looks like concept art for a video game--like an RPG/adventure common in the late 80's/early 90's.
The colors are very pastel-like and eye candy and the setting is mystical. Awesome job.

haha, funnily enough, this was partly inspired by an illustration from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past instruction booklet... of Link standing on a rocky cliff side with his back to the viewer, looking outward to a desert castle in the distance...
