01 (Dream Weaver): See the steps for this image here [link] As you'll see, I started this piece in a totally different direction. All I knew was that I wanted to make a really long neck. For that I used the liquify tool in photoshop.

02 (Freedom's Edge): Not much of the original image is left in this one. I just needed a subsitute for my poor conceptual drawing skills. The half photomanipulation, half painting style worked well but it took a lot of time to get it that way.

03 (One Thousand Dreams): Other then some special effects, this was totally made in ArtRage. With this style, the trick is to keep the paint strokes as thick as possible without loosing too much detail. As you can see I had to make up the legs.
