Description
The theme here is ~ 'being surrounded by beauty but filled with misery on the inside.'As you can see she's not being pushed into the water, as is you would expect but instead she wants to jump, to escape the misery of her life as a captive at sea.
In a way this relates to the Greek myth of Cassandra (whose name means - bringer of doom) who had a tragic, untimely death brought on by her own madness. There's also a song about a girl named Cassandra who left on a ship after the death of her sister and father so obviously, the name fit well.
I've considered writing a story based on this climatic image. Maybe I will one day.

I fell in love with this image right away. and you can guess my shock when i saw that it's title was my name!!
there is a lot of dispute about the meaning of cassandra, because it has no recorded meaning. It is often thought to be 'helper of mankind' because of the princess of troy who received and spoke phrophesies but was never believed.
even with that definition, i think your image matches it perfectly.

When i first saw this picture, i thought it actually was the Cassandra of Greek mythology.
