Continued story from: CASSANDRA [link] My image CASSANDRA which depicted a woman who lost all hope and walked the plank was such a sad story that I decided to bring hope back and resurrect her (with her captors drifting away in the background).
THIS IMAGE BRINGS TWO THOUGHTS TO MY MIND
Perhaps she survived the sea and swam this far, showing the resilience of the human spirit to carry on.
OR
Her sole is waiting on earth for one last sunset and to watch her former life fade into the distance.
Both are pleasing thoughts to me.

I like the second option better, as using the first would invalidate the original.
Alternately, perhaps this is the part of her that she left on land. It has been waiting for the rest of her to return all this time; watching the horizon for her other half to return home. Will it continue to wait, until the sea brings the body do her ... or will each of her halves be forever apart, seeking one another but unable to touch?

I wouldn't have guessed that there was a stock image behind this. It's got a suberb painterly feel to it that is consistent both on the parts that were photography and parts that were painted. Great work.
