Hwa. Man, this photograph is amazing. Objectively, the combination of the light-tones while still keeping a large value range is awesome.
The only thing I personally feel upsets the image is the cat. I understand that that is the focus of the photo, as opposed to the tree, but... eh... on a subjective level, the cat distracts me from the photo as a whole, rather than bringing it together.

that's a photomanipulation... not a photo... unless there's some kind of awesome magical technique I'm missing. a special fish-eye lens perhaps?
perhaps its a darkroom edit?
