Great style - so much energy & expression.
Looking through your gallery I saw some paintings that reminded
of Francis Bacon, but again you have your own distinct style that
makes your work truly unique & emotive.

You took this photo as model, right ? [link]
Why didn't you mention it in the description ?

Yes, true!
If this famous picture [link] from `fidget was a source inspiration, it should have been said in the description.

Looks like traces of blood smeared on a beautiful corpse.
You could add some more words to artist's comments...

oh. didnt look like much in thumbnail. thought it was "just a boring painting", in full.. gods gods. "just a boring realistic painting" was what i figred. imperfeciton is perfection. it doesnt look like a normal person, a normal photo, a normal... anything. fucked up eyes, fucked up lips (in the wasy of "weird lip... excepression", as in, thats fucking good!!) and do am in love with the way it she her that what withers away, all detail all detail, i'd be proud to have this hanging on my wall (with all the textury reflective goodness of a real painting). hmm yes, yummmmm..... oh, it's not like sheheitwhathuh is withering away, more exploding, more melting from acid, or if she's just a leaf, jsut a bounch of leaf, just a tree, and her leafs are flying away in the storm......

The expression of the face and body is matched only by the thick paint creating that elusive feeling of more. The natural skin tones contrasted and somehow flowing together with the bold reds create a stare-worthy image I can't take my eyes away from. The mouth and chin and that wisp of hair are excellently done.

my comments are exactly alike to many others, the way the head and arm seem to come out of nothing is just fascinating, it almost looks like it could all of a sudden move and reach out and grab you. your brush strokes create this allusion so well, i wish i had your talent with paint!

i love it. this painting is gorgeous. i love the colour scheme, and it seems to capture an active moment that is so natural and unavoidable but not necessarily atttractive. very emotional and revealing.

oil paint huh?
intoxicating.
doesn't it bother you that you've got more favourites than comments? that's gotta irk some people.
but this is a nice piece. i think the colours are a bit too neutral for my taste, but that's personal preference. it's really great.

This image is full of suggestive sensuality, but at the same time gives me a feeling of violence. I'm sure this is because of the red splashes and smears and the way she seems to be "falling apart". I really like the different textures, especially the crackled look around the cheek, chin and shoulder, and the combination of solidity and transparency in different areas. This is an incredibly evocative piece, truly a work of art. Superb!
