I know the true story of how Oswald lost popularity. You see, before he started his own company, Walter Disney worked for a different company and Oswald was his first character. When he went to renew his contract, the company reminded him they owned the rights to Oswald AND Walt's animation staff in his contract. Thus, Disney and Mickey Mouse were created. If it weren't for that little snafu, Mickey may have NEVER BEEN MADE. cool to think about, isn't it?
