Ah yet another cool one. I can see these guys as being the cautious types while heading out into space. What with some prior experience with it. As far as there vision goes I'd say they're already ahead of us. Since we know they're related to birds and we know birds see more of the color spectrum then we do it's reasonable to assume these guys could see more of the color spectrum too.
