On the first eve of All Hallows, drums roll and pipes sound as the Pagan god Baphomet calls upon the denizens of forest and peak.This is my entry for the Dark Arts Asylum Sinister Halloween Sounds contest. I've been working on it every day for around 3 weeks, since I moved to Southampton. It's rare for me to feel so much admiration for one of my pieces so soon after I've 'completed' it, but this one is special to me. It represents my love of all things eerie, my love of Halloween, and my pagan roots. I hope you like it too.

Thanks so much folks, it's wonderful to know that we share the same feeling I get from the piece. MS - I had originally drafted a plain enough horn, but I decided the god of Pagan lore needed a bit of extravagance

An amazing drawing. A great atmosphere, and superb details. Great shading and textures.
What I personally would remove though are the things on the horn, whatever they are. Other than that I can't do much other than admire
