The Osodontids are group of Late Kryocene animals descended from an undiscovered wombat-like marsupial. They are designed for the cold and come in many shapes and forms. After the canids and ursids died out, they filled in their niche. But climate change into a hotter Earth ended up wiping them out. They retain their pouches. They get their name from their bone crushing teeth which break up bones that they SWALLOW AND DIGEST.
