Wouldn't it be easier to shoot him with a Chaos Spear? Then again, I don't know how Shadow's powers work....

Also, how bad is it that I found Shadow the Hedgehog (game, not character) to be just "meh"?

The only issues I had with the game was the weird control, useless emphasis on story, and the repetition. I honestly enjoyed the concept itself, of Shadow taking off from the Sonic standards. But it would've been plenty better if it was a spin off and not part of the Sonic canon.

Shadow the Hedgehog should've been its own series honestly. Take it off the Sonic continuity and develop around it.

I rented it a long time ago (back when Blockbuster was still around), so I barely remember it. I do remeber the plot being odd to me, but then again, I'm a fan of the series where the plot revolved around a stolen piece of strawberry cake.

It did seem like a better idea to just make it it's own series as opposed to a spin off of the Sonic series.
