Thank you! Yes, she was good-looking like this until the very last end. She had the body, look, and condition of a 5-6 year old dog. But her mind/head suddenly haltered and she faded. It took but 2 days before we realized that she was already "gone", and we had to let her go. It was really hard, because we all thought she was going to live until 20 because of her good looks! But I guess that is the best way for a dog to go, she didn't suffer and lived a looong and happy and lively life. Lesson: Never take anything for granted, live life every day to the fullest, and think that every goodbye can be the last one so make the best off it!

Aww, im sorry to hear she passed away. You obviously gave her a great life, and she was very loved. She lived a pretty good long life for a larger breed of dog. She was truly a beauty

Thanks Yes you're right about that, she lived a very long time not only for being a large dog but also concerning the breed she was. I think until this day she is still the most beautiful and lady-like dog I've ever met Thanks again!

It is a breed related problem. If it is because of their white coat I dont know (all dogs in this breed are pure white, no markings). Why do you think that? I'm curious I was told it was a problem amongst these dogs because they have such a small gene-pool. It is a fairly new breed, with only about 200 dogs.. And in earlier years some of the dogs used for breeding were used way too much and without care so the problem was spread on to many of the dogs and it was also very hard to find a combination to breed who wasnt related... But now they have a very nice program for breeding and are very carefull so that they will preserve the breed in best manner posible.

Why I´ve ask? nothing, I just know about a few dogs that had issues because of their white coat, like bull terrier.
But I´m sure this is not the case of your dog
