Backed into a corner, Aster must quickly decide if she will break the barrier protecting the Luminous Water to protect herself and others from Effiom whom they all believe to be responsible for turning Pokémon into stone. Despite the dangers before them as Effiom advances towards them, clearly angered and ready to harm them, she cannot shake this horrible feeling that something bad will happen if she breaks the barrier. Pushed by Atlas, Mr. Fife, and Pryderi, Aster finally ignores the looming feeling doom and breaks the barrier protecting the Luminous Water. For a brief moment, Atlas believes that they finally have the means to defeat the culprit behind so many Pokémon being turned to stone. However, the brief moment soon vanishes when it is revealed that Mr. Fife was truly the one responsible for so many Pokémon being turned to stone. Before anyone can register this shocking reveal, he betrays Effiom and turns him to stone right before their eyes. Pryderi, Atlas, Suicune, and Raikou attempt to surround Mr. Fife and fight him as Aster readies herself to aid them with the Luminous Water, but even that plan is foiled with the sudden appearance of Thanatos. Aster can only stare in horror as the one she looked up to as a father-figure and trusted to take care of her turns her and everyone else to stone.

(MAN, THAT SCENE!!! I made art of this way back when I first played the game, but it felt pretty empty and didn't quite match the scale of just how freaky that scene was. I'm hoping that once I finish cleaning up and coloring this new sketch it'll look way better. Still, that scene just really knows how to shake you to your core!)
