iigh. i don't even know why im posting this. its really just something to do. im watching tv.we had to do a still life. i hate still lifes. they are boring. this took up...what? i think around 1 to 1.5 hours of my life. charcoal.

I know you don't like this very much, but I think it has some great elements to it. The way you handled the light shining on the different tubes is extremely impressive, especially since you did this in charcoal! It also has some interestingly ironic elements. Although it's a still life, it is an extremely dynamic piece; all of the paint drips seem to be in mid-fling, as if controlled by some invisible Pollock. I also found it very interesting how you chose to do a still-life of paint, the very essence of pure color, in black and white.
