Your dad comes off in the earlier bits as a controlling stubborn dude but beneath it he's just trying to do what's best for you and that comes through a bit later in the game. In his old dialogue art he didn't give off that serious vibe I wanted him to have and this definitely does that.

Like in the original, your dad still won't let you become a Pokemon trainer but in the Remastered version he has a more thought out reason why. Oh and even though the protagonist is based on me, his father isn't actually based on my own. Enjoy!
