Description Gackt with all grown-up Kanata Hongo.

Who's that, you say?

He was Gackt's character, Sho, as a young boy in "Moon Child" and toured with him in the 2003 Jougen no Tsuki tour: [link] .

If someone wants a particular one, drop me a note and I'll try to hunt down where I got it. I didn't mean to make Gackt feel old---but looking at these pictures I feel pretty old, LOL. I think it's wonderful though he's stayed close to and kind of looked after the kid all this time.

Well, obviously, I've seen Gackt over the past several years so I know good and well he's aged (though gorgeously, lol)...but when I saw Kanata Hongo, I nearly died! I guess part of me thought he'd stay cute little boy Sho forever...

I only just watched Moon Child a few months ago so in my mind, I saw him as a little kid. xD Then a few months later....... "WHAT?!?!?!" My mind was blown LOL. xD Before G looked like a young dad especially when he sang Tsuki no Uta, but now they look like brothers. <3 Because GACKT never ages ne? xD And amaiakuyume's tranlations are so good! I loved reading it. I got a little teary too. ^_^

Yeah, I hadn't realized how much time had actually gone by until I saw these photos myself. I've only been a Gackt fan for about 3 1/2 years, so I've kind of had some catching up to do. But 8 years since the movie? Whoa.

Actually, that's the one big thing I'm nervous about. I'm not fond of flying either. And, this will be the first time I've ever left the US.

But I'm excited, too! Maybe Gackt will be doing something over there then I can go to.

I've only been on a plane a few times before, but I was really young. And now they just freak me out. But I suppose if I was sleeping for... 13 hours, I'd be okay. XD Are you going by yourself?

Oh my gosh, if you see GACKT...tie him up and bring him back to the US! o_o I'd be willing to at least fly to the state you're in to see him... XD

My dad's going with me, and we're also traveling with a group. He speaks and reads and writes some Japanese (a trait he sadly didn't pass on to me, other than the odd phrase or word here and there) so I feel a bit better about that.

Oh...I'd sneak him back, for sure! Well, maybe politely beg him to come back to the US with me for a visit.

Well, I tend to use free backgrounds for texture and interest. Usually I choose the picture first, then, find a background that compliments it. If I can't, then I use Photoshop Elements to sample colors or patterns out of the photos themselves.
