Description
We are back on the sketchy memory lane, this time featuring sketches and drawings from 2017-2020. There are more sketches from said time period, but to avoid bloating this sketchdump is themed around anime and manga, the main focus unsurprisingly being Dragon Ball.

1. Sikuri and Jano having a deep discussion about the true essence of Dragon Ball! Before the new Broly movie, I actually made a fan theory how ssj4 could be achieved in DBZ/DBS continuities by harnessing the power of the Great Ape while resisting the transformation itself and it would then lead to ssj4. Then the Broly movie happened and I was like, well, damn. Still, keeping my theory for Sikuri!

2. “You did your best and I am proud of you.”
Posted this on tumblr back in the day and to quote myself: I really liked Gowasu, his tea-drinking overthinking self.

3. I drew this sketch of Kurotsuchi Mayuri from memory in 2017. Mayuri is, hands down, my favorite character from Bleach and I am so hyped for the anime's return later this year!

4. Sketch of Simeon from Mahoutsukai no Yome (Ancient Magus bride). This character is such a cinnamonroll that I had to draw him.

5. Magic Knight Rayearth was the first manga I ever owned and Clef was, and still is, my favorite character from the series. For this sketch I drew a long fringe which he has at the end of the manga, and I'm kind of sad we don't get to see his full costume clearly.

6. This is the first drawing of my DB oc Sikuri. At this point I hadn't figured out her hairstyle yet and her armor was purple. I'm so glad I changed it to green.

7. A sketch of Cooler (or Coora) that I started traditionally then made lineart digitally, after which I noticed the pose was wonky and started fixing it. Then I kind of just forgot to finish the picture, whoops. I actually had a short "What if" -story in mind for Cooler, something about him not taking his power for granted and training all his life in the shadow of his younger brother, and after the events on Namek he'd have challenged Freeza to a duel.

8. Sikuri's early design with a Freeza Force armor, and a cool looking helmet that I'm pretty proud of.

9. Sikuri ready to perform her signature move, Crusher Cell! A devastating short range Ki blast attack.

10. Guess what is my favorite pose to draw? Ffffff! Anyhow, here is Jano, filled with calm, and preparing to fight Tulva.

11. A traditional sketch of said Tulva with digital colors.

12. A random Kaioshin I drew for coloring practice purposes.

13. Zamasu and Gowasu from DBS. Back tilt is such a difficult angle to draw but I'm getting there!

14. Back in the day, I played a lot of DBZ Dokkan Battle and this was my team for my second World tournament. In my first tournament, Perfect Cell was the main damage dealer with his "mass attack" but then I got Legendary Broly and he replaced Cell as the MVP but the android still cling onto his spot in the team.

15. Goku! Probably thinking, "I'm so gonna fight that dude".

16. What if Routa was a shinobi from Konoha?

17. Mayuri is done with everyone's incompetence.

18. And finally another sketch of Clef, this time with more adult like features.
