and this is just me, but I hated how they changed Shing's name to Kor but kept Hisui and Kohaku's japanese name. Doesn't sit well with me... Especiallyy since every time they say Shing in game, the text it says Kor Kor Kor uggh Maybe it would've been okay if they had an english dub
I feel Bamco really cheaped out on the localization with Hearts R I'm really disappointed Β T.T

Apparently, they didn't have that much memory space to put in an English dub on the Hearts R game.
It's odd how they would allow the Japanese to stay in tact, but not be able to remove the Japanese dub and replace it in English.
Also, Shing's name change was dumb. Also the fact that they forgot they changed Kohaku's name twice in other Tales games.
Though, I really hope they bring over Tales of Innocence R. Though, if they have the same trouble with the memory for it, it might go the same way they did for Hearts R.
Mind you, I would love to voice Ruca/Luca Milda.

Couldn't they do like some PSN DLC kinda deal with an eng voice pack if memory was the issue? T.T
and yeah I noticed that too...she was Amber in ToG and even Shing's name was still Shing in that carta card game in ToG wasn't it?
uggh the inconsistency with these localizations is really annoying...they did it with the arte names in recent Tales too OTL
and yes yes yes to ToIR! but they better not screw up like they did with Hearts //sigh

Yeah, a DLC for that would make more sense to put on if the couldn't fit it in with the memory.
I think there are maybe a few reasons why things are lost in translation when it comes to the Tales Games:
1. They hire different teams of programmers and translators for each game.
2. Whatever they do with the other notes regarding the games they've translated, they don't share with other groups.
3. Both 1 and 2
I would really love to see them do justice for Innocence R. However, I really hope it gets a North America release.

You're welcome, I'm glad we're still able to play at least some of them in Japanese when DS and PSP didn't have region locks>w> But now that is becoming impossible too thanks to the new consoles being locked;_;

There is a fan patch! But the person making it has been known to quit projects (Tales of Destiny II, for example. As well as the Narikiri Dungeons).
