Finally getting around to catching up DeviantArt with the rest of my social media @_@I made this costume for Bronycon 2016, a completely new Trixie costume! I loved being her so much in 2014 I just had to upgrade the look.
In keeping with my trend from earlier this year, this costume is saturated in glass rhinestones in starburst patterns, between the hat, cape, and dress over 10,000 rhinestones were used! SPARKLY!
This costume was a first for me in the realm of wig styling, in order to give Trixie her silvery-blue striped look, I re-wefted about half of a silver 'Buttercup' from Arda with periwinkle. In hindsight it would have been so much easier to dye it, but I didn't have the time to do the trial-and-error to get the perfect shade, I made this entire costume in a month around a ton of other personal stuff.
