Description
Testing my new marker-like brush I made the other day in three different sizes. Also, I made a try not to use anything but the brush; no smudging/blurring of any kind and it turned out well I think. I might color this one as well./Photoshop

I really like it. The eyes make the creature vaguely human looking or maybe a little bit ex-human. I love the tentacled and mouthed "hands".

Yes, I think a humanoid face is easier to relate to sometimes

intersting, but don't you think there's acontrast between the demon's face, of a classical humanoid monster, and its hands and oozing lower section, definitely horror/Lovecraftian ?
I think it would've been better to give it more alien a faceβ¦

The alien face would be cool, but it would have taken away from it's uniqueness. Having a humanoid type face gives it a evil, more forbidden/taboo feel to it. It gives it more emotion, rather than the scary. It makes you wonder if it was once human, and you can feel pity along with the emotions it caused. If it didn't have this, it would be another pile of alien slime that you would come to expect in a drawing.

Nope I don't think so. Had I shared this view I'd have gone with it too from start. It's the blend I like with it.

Impressive! Oddly enough, this reminds me of a monster I have seen in a game. I like the look he has. Its not quite aggressive, or completely insane, just more or less challenging, or "I'm going to get you". Anyways, before I ramble to much, nicely done. I hope to see this colored. ^^
