Description Also meant for scraps. Inspired by another Mortal Kombat tower mission where Mileena has a crush on Scorpion and tries repeatedly to make him accept a handmade teddy bear to his annoyance.

Didn't know they were making a second. Don't know a whole lot about the Vita version yet. Do you know any other stuff that's new?

Ahah sounds like something Mileena would say/do!
I think ScorpionxMileena is a too improbable pairing, but I love seeing her try and push his buttons! XD
Well drawn too! Congrats!

Merci Yeah, I don't see that pairing working out; I kinda think Scorpion stays faithful to his late wife, but I could see Mileena going after him.

The teddy's literally in the game. She's holding it throughout that whole fight. Mortal Kombat's challenge tower is something other fighting games need to take note of. It's challenging while being reasonably completable (unlike the dreaded combo challenges of most other fighters), and it allows for some interesting one-offs, like the Mileena's teddy, Shao Kahn and the baby, Zombie Goro, Cyber Reptile, playing as Johnny Cage's director, etc. I loved it. Other games took note of MK's story mode like Soul Calibur 5, but more need this kind of side activity too.

The only thing I didn't like in MK9's challenge tower is that there was no skill level select and they reduced the skill level of the fight (without mention it to you) the more you re-played it. I disliked that concept, I like the satisfaction of knowing I beat something challenging on the hardest skill. Even if it takes me a boat load of attempts.

I thought they only did that on the final fight? Granted, there were only a few that took too terribly many tries (I honestly had a harder time with Raiden's chapter in story). It was really the variety I appreciate in it. I swear I'd thank whatever god presides over game design if combo challenges were abolished altogether in favor of using battles with special conditions like that, even if they decided to go SNK-boss difficult with some of them. I love Street Fighter and MvC, and King of Fighters, but because of combo challenges I'll probably never platinum those.

combo-challenges
I'm not a big fan of games like street fighter where they don't like to give you an actual block button so you go to move backward or perform a move with back in it and end up auto blocking >.< Also the rate the characters move seems soo slow, I know it is like that on-purpose as part of the balance of slow and ranged but it just bugs me lol. Also Mortal Kombat's games always feel like an actual new game rather than a small expansion.
But anyway, yea the part with Raiden where you had to fight guy after guy of your own dead team-mates is that what you are refering to?

As for capcom and their block mechanics, I can understand that. It normally doesn't bother me, but it certainly can make 'win without blocking' trophies harder to get than it sounds. They had one like that on UMvC3 in online which made it that much harder. 'Course I still haven't gotten MK9's 'win a ranked match without jumping' because it's too bloody instinctual for me to jump to dodge instead of block. All that said, MK's easily my favorite fighting series. As probably evidenced from the plethora of it in my gallery . I honestly tend to favor more special move based games over Tekken-like games. Granted Soulcalibur's up there because of the character creation and excellent character designs. I love most fighting games in general and rarely won't buy one when it comes out. The only series I just really don't like is Virtua Fighter. I remember when it came out and was getting 9's and 10's and I just could not understand that because to me it lacks soul. Everyone says story doesn't matter in fighting games, and I totally disagree. Story's why I love the ones I do - all the ties characters have to each other make the matches more interesting, and tag teams far more interesting if they're available. And VF has literally NO in-game story. No endings, no story mode... I don't even remember if characters that are supposed to be related even say anything special to each other. Anyway, gotta get ready for work instead of messing around on here now

Wow you wrote like an essay haha. I enjoyed Bio Freak's on n64, Dead or Alive Hardcore on ps2, and yea Soul Calibur games are also fun the original (Soul Blade) had a way different feel to it were able to jump really high. I also like UFC 2009 but the 2010 version of the game I felt the mechanics were off the game play was sped-up but but like an an awkward manner and the character models looked really funny to me in 2010 ha. but Anyway Mortal Kombat still remains my favorite fighting series.
I'm surprised at how few fighting games there actually are when you look at FPS games there are millions of them but I guess FPS games are easier to clone. I wish a new-revamped Jet Moto game would come out but that's a totally different topic.

Yes! That was hard as a mother----- to me; that and Shao Kahn at the end. Partially because Raiden's far from my best character, and also because story mode was the first thing I did (when I got the game at the midnight launch I didn't sleep until I finished the story), I hadn't had a chance to learn Kahn's weaknesses in this one plus was running solely on energy drink fumes while dawn broke. I was about to say 'screw it' and go to bed when I finally got him.
