Description

Felt like having my next Blender render to be a redo of another drawing I had done. Kind of like how I had done with the Darkest Light render from last year. And sadly I did end up largely doing it the same manner of a rather piecemeal manner. Overall just with the model there are 12 different objects that I sculpted manually. Overall I mostly like how it came out, though there are a few weaknesses that make the original a bit better. For starters, the leg that's about to kick is hidden in the tail, so it's less clear what's going on. Second, I really dislike how that front arm turned out as like with Darkest light it looks way too chonky. Final issue is that the eyes don't look nearly real enough. But the point of these are practice, right? I did have to spend a while trying to get the fire to work and actually had to go so far as to open a new file just to get the fire and import it in because the exact same steps in the normal file wasn't doing anything.
