“Oh thank Arceus we were able to find you,” the woman says as she rushes up and immediately pulls me up into a hug, even lifting my front paws off the ground. “We were afraid we wouldn’t be able to find you two.”

I kind of blink a few times somewhat awkwardly. I had no idea that they’d be doing something like this. But at the same time when I notice that she’s actually started crying I don’t exactly have the heart to try and regain my personal space. I glance over and see that the man has grabbed Maria into a hug as well, a very confused look on her face as well.

“If it wasn’t for the two of you coming to our rescue, we wouldn’t have,” she sobs, unable to finish her sentence.

I’m just kind of forced into this strange hug with no real way to even really respond. I decide to look at the two pokemon they had out and find that they are both bowing to us.

“Thank you for everything you did for us,” the espeon says, refusing to look up at us. “I understand what risk you put yourself without any reason to expect any reward. We are still free because of you two and for that we will be eternally grateful.”
