Once the photo has been taken I quickly head on over to where Maria is so I can get my harness back on, reflecting on what I was told. It seems like my condition is one of the least kept secrets in the entire city. And it somewhat is a contrast to the initial intention. That the original reason we were allowed to go in this city, that he’d let me borrow Maria for my time in our body was a test to see if I could behave and not draw attention. Not only did it slowly turn shiny over the span of several months, but apparently it’s locked to always being in my summer coat. And that brings to question what other peculiarities might be present in my body right now.
