One of the things I've wanted to get better at is making things using Blender. Ideally I'd want to start taking commissions for blender models or sculptures. But for that I need practice and though I am improving on my animation projects they are slow so getting "quickie" drawings would be best. So each month I'm going to try and spend about 10 hours creating a still scene in Blender. And I wanted to just do a cutesy drawing for the first one. SO I drew a cute little fox and tried to recreate in Blender.

I got the actual sculpt done in like 5 hours and then spent the other five hours going through and adding in details, trying to figure out how best to accomplish my vision and partly succeeding. I needed to actually add a whole bunch of lights to help highlight where they were cause I wanted the wisps to be the main source of light. Ideally I'd have wanted them to be actual flames but didn't bother doing a tutorial on flames just yet, so kind of half-assed it. Overall I like it.
